2010 Host Hotel for the Nor Cal ASA JO Championships will be the Santa Clara Marriott.  This year the price per room will include free parking and Grab-N-Go Breakfast!!!

All Youth personal in the dugout or on the field must be ACE certified (which includes a background check).  This goes for all recreation league teams and all travel teams.

For the Nor Cal ASA Championship Tournament coaches must wear their  ACE Certification Card. 
(Lanyard is provided with ACE card when mailed to you)

As we progress toward the Summer Travel Ball season the processing of your ACE Certification/Background Check could take 2 - 4 weeks by the ASA National Office.  
We suggest that you plan accordingly.

In the past coaches were able to do the ACE test at Nor Cal ASA Championships, but because of the background check that is required this will be impossible.  If your coaches show up without their ACE Certification and Background check they will not be able to be in the dugout at all.

2010 Berth Allocation from the 
Nor Cal ASA JO Championships

Nor Cal ASA will have:

 4 berths to the USA/ASA "A" National Championship 
(all age levels)

Berths to the Pacific Coast Region 14 "A" Championships
10u-4, 12u-5, 14u-6, 16u-5, 18u-6

8 berths to the ASA "B" Western Nationals 
(all age levels)

4 berths to the Pacific Coast Region 14
 "C" Regional Championships 
(all age levels)

Only 10u, 12u and 14u “A” teams and all “B & C” Nor-Cal ASA Association teams must play in one ASA pre-qualifying tournament prior to the Association Championships.

All Grapette/BRAT Tournaments in 2010 are 
considered Nor-Cal pre-qualifiers. 

The R.R. Gold Tournaments are not Nor-Cal ASA pre-qualifiers.
